I talked to Jacob 2 days ago and she was home and recovering well. She was off the major pain meds and her drain tube had been removed. He said they didn't think they'd get test results back for another week or two but that she was at home resting and doing good............Danny
Jessica's results came back yesterday, and were not what we had expected or wanted. The biopsy tested positive for cancer. mucoepidermoid carcenoma is the name I think. The doctor wants to cosult more closely with the pathologist and radiologist as to our next step. On a ranking of low, intermediate, or high the results came back "moderate", meaning there was less than a millimeter of good tissue on the surrounding edge of the tissue. This is not much of a safe margin, and so he has prepared us to prepare for radiation treatments. We should know for sure by Tuesday, and if we have to start radiation I want to get started as quickly as possible. I appreciate all your concern, and please continue to pray for us. Love Jodi
